The Management of the company SANELCO outlines the Corporate Social Responsibility policy, as adopted by its Board of Directors, and defines the goals, principles, and core values that govern its actions.

This Policy of the Board of Directors of SANELCO defines the key aspects of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility and determines its actions in the areas where it operates.

The executives of the company SANELCO use this Policy as a guide for assigning responsibilities and powers regarding the design, implementation, and control of all its actions.

The main concern of SANELCO in its business activities is raising awareness and maintaining a firm commitment to issues that affect society, as well as its voluntary commitment to strategies that protect and promote the interests of its Employees, Partners, Suppliers, and Customers.

The Management of the company SANELCO, reaffirming its commitment to matters related to Corporate Social Responsibility and its willingness to act as an “active corporate citizen”:

  • Implements principles of Social Responsibility
  • Fully complies with relevant national legislation
  • Creates value for society through the products it produces and contributes to economic development and the improvement of the quality of life in the country.

The SANELCO Corporate Social Responsibility Policy is accompanied by the following actions:

  • Compliance with Collective Labor Agreements and provisions of Labor Law
  • Prohibition of child labor
  • Prohibition of forced labor
  • Disciplinary action practices
  • Continuous monitoring of wages to ensure they are sufficient to cover basic needs
  • Regular information and raising awareness among employees regarding the value of Corporate Responsibility
  • Ensuring hygiene and safety standards in the workplace by employees and our partners/subcontractors, taking necessary measures to prevent accidents, and implementing the prescribed safety checks based on the current legislation for Employee Health and Safety
  • Providing equal opportunities to all, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion, special needs, political beliefs, or sexual preference
  • Protecting the right to unionize and engage in collective bargaining
  • Risk assessment (MEEK)
  • Evaluation and informing existing Suppliers and Subcontractors about practices related to Corporate Social Responsibility.

All of the above will be carried out based on the principles of sustainability and sustainable development with full respect for the environment. In order to fulfill all these obligations, we are committed to complying with and exceeding all requirements of the principles of social responsibility, while the continuous effort for ongoing improvement remains a primary concern of SANELCO and the philosophy of all its employees.
